The part that goes wrong in condo buildings

Almost every failed condo junk removal fails for the same reasons, and none of them are about lifting:

• The service elevator wasn’t booked. Most Toronto buildings require it in advance, in a specific window, with pads installed. Turning up without it means the job doesn’t happen.
• The loading dock was taken. Docks get scheduled, and a move-in has priority over a hauler who didn’t call ahead.
• The truck didn’t fit. Underground levels have real clearance limits, often well under what a standard junk truck needs.
• No certificate of insurance on file. Plenty of buildings won’t let a contractor past the lobby without one.
